Job summary

Swan Global in Qatar is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman cum Document Controller to support LV and MV switchgear projects, drafting SLDs, wiring, and control diagrams, and maintaining drawing registers.

The role requires 3–5 years in AutoCAD drafting and document control for electrical projects, with preference for LV/MV switchgear and oil & gas, power, or industrial sector experience. Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AutoCAD drafting and document control experience in electrical projects.
• Experience with LV/MV switchgear projects is highly preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or Industrial sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update electrical drawings: SLDs, wiring diagrams, schematics, panel layouts.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision history; ensure version control.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients on drawing updates.
• Manage project documentation, procedures, and engineering documents.
