Job summary

Caregiver vacancy in Doha Doha Qatar is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide quality care for elderly family members in Doha, Qatar. The role is based in Doha and requires patient, reliable individuals capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include daily personal care, medication assistance, health monitoring, meal preparation, accompanying to appointments, safety, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is an asset.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and make decisions quickly.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English language.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist in administering medication as prescribed
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse
• Prepare nutritious meals according to health requirements
• Take the patient to appointments or social activities
• Ensure a safe living environment by taking safety precautions
• Provide companionship, emotional support and encouragement to the patient
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping
