Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Technician in Doha, Qatar. The role supports the facility with comprehensive environmental, health and safety management, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety for staff and patients.

The EHS Technician will coordinate safety initiatives, develop and implement safety processes, and stay current with EH&S best practices while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental, health and safety management in a clinical/food service setting.
• Strong English communication and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with safety auditing and incident investigations.
• Willingness to relocate and obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly food service inspections aligned with food safety standards.
• Investigate food-borne illness outbreaks and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Establish a Food Safety and Inspection Program meeting delivery requirements.
• Conduct routine restaurant inspections at dining facilities and concessions.
• Implement emergency response plans and assess health threats.
