Contract Duration: ASAP start – May 31, 2027
Rate: All-inclusive day rate

Join a leading energy sector organisation seeking a Senior Digital Solutions Product Owner to drive the development and adoption of key digital assets. This role requires a hands-on, results-oriented professional to oversee product roadmaps, manage enhancement projects, and ensure digital tools deliver maximum value to operations.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure all digital solutions within the product scope are fit for purpose and meet operational needs
Develop, maintain, and track progress against the product roadmap
Measure product adoption through usage metrics and set targets for improvement
Review design specs for enhancements and new features, including user stories, workflows, and mockups
Lead enhancement projects and use case developments from inception to delivery
Maintain consistency and prevent duplication across asset models and tool functionalities
Initiate and manage product enhancement initiatives ensuring best development practices
Collaborate closely with IS application engineers to define technical requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related technology field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas operations or related industry
At least 5 years’ experience managing projects, ideally in cross-functional and multicultural environments
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively

Strong presentation skills — clear, concise, engaging, and persuasive
Autonomous decision-maker with solid justification abilities
Effective leader and facilitator of design and specification sessions
Results-driven, proactive, creative thinker with strong organisational skills
Practical understanding of databases and petroleum applications
Familiarity with real-time process data systems (e.g., SCADA, historians)
General knowledge of process control systems and vendors such as ABB, Siemens, Yokogawa, PLCs, and OSIsoft PI DA
Experience with scripting languages (Python, SQL) and reporting/dashboard tools (PowerBI, SSRS, Spotfire, Tableau) is advantageous
Proficient with MS Project and MS Office Suite; experience with MS Visio is a plus
