Job summary

Aster DM Healthcare - Qatar is seeking a dedicated EEG Technician to conduct electroencephalography examinations and assist in neurological evaluations. You will secure scalp electrodes, prepare patients for procedures, and collaborate with physicians to interpret results that inform patient care.

You will maintain EEG equipment and records, educate patients, and stay updated on new EEG technologies to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electroencephalography or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EEGs to measure brain activity and diagnose conditions such as epilepsy sleep disorders and brain tumors.
• Prepare patients for EEG procedures including securing electrodes to the scalp.
• Analyze EEG data and collaborate with physicians to interpret results and inform patient care.
• Maintain patient records and EEG equipment to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the EEG procedure.
• Stay current with new EEG technologies and techniques to continually improve patient outcomes.
