Your Day to Day

As an Accounts Supervisor, you should have a strong background in cashiering responsibilities and income audit processes. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains financial integrity, and supports our property's overall financial operations.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Managing daily cash and cheque collections in accordance with hotel policies and reconciling amounts with system reports.
• Performing daily foreign currency exchange with the appointed money changer and reconciling all foreign exchange submissions and calculations from Front Office and POS.
• Preparing and banking all daily cash and cheques promptly.
• Preparing the General Cashier Report daily to reconcile collections and banking.
• Maintaining in-house funds by reimbursing cashier’s paid-outs and conducting periodic float counts.
• Monitoring hotel foreign exchange rates and updating them as per hotel policy.
• Balancing petty cash disbursements against floats and ensuring timely reimbursements.
• Safeguarding all cheques and cash in custody.
• Collaborating with other departments for seamless financial operations and communication.
• Monitoring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

What We Need From You

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• At least three years of experience in accounting or finance, including one year in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of cashiering and income audit processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
