Job Description:

The key responsibilities of the incumbent would include:

• Technical delivery of corporate tax compliance (calculations, computation of tax liabilities, disclosures, payment of taxes, filings of tax returns, etc.)
• Technical delivery of advisory assignments (including but not limited to Corporate Income Tax and International Taxation, such as cross-border tax implications, DTAA interpretations, etc.)
• Experience with Withholding taxes and Transfer Pricing would be an added advantage
• Handle the firm's clients and be responsible for developing new business in the corporate tax practice
• Identify and support the firm's initiatives to deliver tailor-made solutions for clients
• Network with external organizations and build strategic alliances to enhance the brand value of MBG
• Support product development initiatives as required
• Leverage revenue growth opportunities for the firm's Corporate Tax Practice
• Drive retention and growth of team members, demonstrating good people management skills

About the Person

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience from a Professional Service Firm with a tax practice in Qatar
• Strong technical capabilities in tax, including international tax and cross-border tax
• Experience with ERPs/MIS systems would be an advantage
• Led client engagements for multinationals, especially on structures and complex taxation transactions
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Leveraged technology to bring benefits
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
