Security Manager Vacancy in Al-Rayyan, Qatar
Position: Asset Protection Officer
Obligations and Duties:
- Reports to Property Protection Manager
- Examines occurrences and cases described by the department
- Performs CCTV tracking (online and random evaluation of recordings)
- Conducts new staff orientation for newly-hired cashiers, drug store aides, and pharmacists when requested by Kulud Administration
- Submits records of all examinations and situations to the proper authority, as well as records of all cases responded to the concerned division manager
- Carries out surprise branch visits and surprise cash counts
- Supervises implementation of tasks like CCTV setup, GPS installations, and fire alarm maintenance examinations of contractors
- Maintains CCTV systems regularly and visits pharmacy branches to remedy/address concerns on CCTV systems, maintaining logs of maintenance concerns
- Handles security guards of selected business centers, including IMC Store and Kulud Shop
- Checks CCTV recordings for missing check-in/out of teams upon request
- In charge of department admin requirements, maintaining office equipment and facilities
- Executes various other responsibilities and obligations upon instructions of CEO, DCEO, and APM
Qualifications:
- Locally available
- Bachelor's degree, preferably related to IT or electrical courses
- Qatar driver's license, preferably with a vehicle
- 4-5 years of experience in asset protection/loss prevention in a retail market setup
- Comprehensive knowledge of CCTV operations, preventative maintenance, and system installation
- Experienced investigator with excellent investigative skills—formal training in investigation is a plus
- Good communication skills, ideally in English
- Good team player, adaptable to fast-changing workplace and circumstances
- Experience in incident management, security, and safety management is preferred
