Job description

SEK International School Qatar, located at the prominent West Bay, Al Farouq Street in Doha, Qatar, aims to provide a high-quality international education by developing students' abilities to their highest potential.

The ICT and Media Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the school's technological needs, communication systems (internal and media), and documentation systems. This role includes maintaining ICT systems, assisting users, ensuring hardware and software function effectively across the school, capturing and editing photos and videos for school events, preparing content for publishing, and supporting onboarding and digital training for staff, students, and parents. The specialist is expected to manage responsibilities independently and reliably.

ICT Operations & Support
  • Install, configure, and maintain ICT hardware and licensed software according to school policies.
  • Ensure all devices are secure, up to date, and ready for use by students and staff.
  • Respond promptly to ICT Helpdesk requests and provide technical support to staff, students, and parents.
  • Support students with device setup, especially for platforms like ClassLink and other educational tools.
  • Maintain and prepare examination devices in line with assessment requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of school ICT assets.
  • Record completed tasks and support actions in the tracking system to ensure transparency and inform the team of ongoing and resolved issues.
  • Communicate with external vendors and service providers for quotations, follow-ups, and reporting technical issues, maintenance, or repair needs in coordination with the ICT Coordinator.
Requirements
  • University degree related to Computer Science and Information Technology.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IT tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data input skills.
  • Strong cross-cultural interpersonal skills, professional and friendly in person and over the phone.
