Job Description
This position will be responsible for managing projects and programs related to eHealth. The Project Manager supports the administration of daily project activities, coordinates with team members on the implementation and effective usage of the eHealth national solution, and follows international project management methodologies.
- Plan and coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Develop project work breakdown structures to clearly outline the scope to be delivered.
- Create comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Manage day-to-day activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate with stakeholders at various levels to keep them informed of project progress.
- Manage risks and issues, working with relevant owners to apply management strategies.
- Develop reports and dashboards to report on project progress.
- Take accountability for the entire project lifecycle.
- Support project staff by facilitating logistics such as meetings and conference calls.
- Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Assist in developing presentations and gathering relevant project information.
- Apply various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, such as analyzing project needs, determining priorities, and monitoring performance.
- Use experience and judgment to plan and achieve project goals.
- Perform administrative tasks related to project management.
- Support project management processes and demonstrate how to use administrative tools.
- Review project materials and deliverables for adherence to methodologies and procedures.
- Coordinate upgrades and support project management vendors; organize training on project management tools and methodologies.
- Participate in developing, maintaining, and publishing project management standards and guidelines.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Paramedical fields is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in project management.
- Experience in implementing and supporting clinical systems such as EMR, LIS, pharmacy, radiology, etc.
- Knowledge of implementing national health information exchange, electronic prescribing, pharmaceutical supply chain management, and disease condition management is beneficial.
- Experience working with vendors for system implementation and integration.
- Experience managing resources, time, and budget.
- Healthcare technology project management experience is necessary.
- Familiarity with international project management methodologies such as PMP and/or Prince2.
