Job Description

The role aims to be recognized as a trusted advisor to the business. This role supports the finance leader in developing the finance team and enabling them to thrive. The role involves effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring a robust control and compliance environment, and understanding the EMEA finance management company's value proposition, which is attractive to existing and new owners. The role partners with the business to maximize profit for shareholders and owners and supports innovation and efficiency in the finance organization.

The Finance Manager is accountable for understanding and driving financial performance of the hotel and performing all finance activities within the policy, regulatory, and contractual frameworks.

The role involves business partnering with the General Manager and developing strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, including Hotel Finance, Commercial, IT, Procurement, Human Resources, Operations, Shared Service Centers, Owners, Asset Managers, and Regional Operations Finance. The Finance Manager works with these partners to develop best-in-class hotel finance teams and participates in relevant finance development programs.

You should be familiar with the management agreement for the hotel and ensure compliance through appropriate processes and procedures, reporting any non-compliance issues to your supervisor.
