We seek an experienced, dynamic Director of Music capable of teaching from Key Stage 3 to A Level, with strong piano skills and experience working with orchestras and bands. The role involves leading extracurricular musical ensembles, utilizing music technology, and fostering links within the community. Our facilities include keyboards, rock-band instruments, iMacs, smartboards, grand pianos, and synthesizers, with additional practice rooms for bands.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about music, with excellent subject knowledge, a successful track record, and a collaborative leadership style. Responsibilities include setting the ethos for the music department, planning concerts and events, and encouraging participation in competitions. Fluency in English is essential.
