Your Day-to-Day

As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering mouthwatering desserts and pastry creations. We are looking for a passionate and creative candidate to join our team and help elevate our offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods for all dining outlets within the hotel.
  • Follow and execute recipes and instructions from the Chef de Partie Pastry or Executive Pastry Chef.
  • Ensure that all desserts, pastries, and baked goods meet standards for presentation, taste, and quality.
  • Help maintain the pastry section, ensuring it is organized, stocked, and fully equipped at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies when necessary.
  • Assist with the preparation and creation of seasonal menu items, special events, and promotions.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
  • Assist in training and developing junior pastry team members.
  • Contribute ideas for innovation and creativity within the pastry department.
What We Need From You

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following:

  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in pastry, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong understanding of pastry techniques, including plating, decorating, and baking.
  • A passion for pastry, desserts, and baking arts.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and quality control.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
