Job summary

Byron Recruitment is seeking an experienced EAL educator for a Canadian-curriculum international school in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction, creating inclusive classrooms, and supporting student academic and personal growth.

Start date ASAP. The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with staff while engaging parents and contributing to the school community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in ESL, Education, or related subject
  • Recognized teaching qualification
  • Previous experience teaching EAL within a school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Ability to plan and deliver effective, student-centered lessons
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
  • Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding, and academic achievement
  • Professional level of spoken and written English

Position Overview
