We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Commis Pastry Chef to join a prestigious fine dining culinary team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pastry techniques, a creative flair, and a commitment to excellence. You will work alongside world-class chefs to deliver exceptional desserts and pastry items that reflect the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of all pastry and dessert items.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Pastry Chef.
  • Ensure ingredients and products are stored and rotated properly, maintaining hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section and uphold kitchen sanitation standards.
  • Support senior pastry chefs with mise en place and daily tasks.
  • Participate in the development of new pastry items and menu concepts.
  • Comply with all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in culinary or pastry training from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pastry role, preferably in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong understanding of classic and modern pastry techniques.
