Job description

F&B Porter is responsible for ensuring that all Front of House areas are kept clean and sanitary. This includes clearing trays from tables after customers leave, sanitizing the tables, assisting customers, working with Ware Wash staff, and removing refuse. Responsibilities also involve moving goods and supplies to QDF, F&B locations around the terminal, and providing assistance where needed.

Key Accountabilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Perform cleaning and clearing activities according to the Quality Assurance program & standards.
• Clean soiled tables using the correct methods and materials.
• Handle and operate dishwashing machines, including cleaning and refilling them.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene practices at all times.
• Ensure a continuous supply of clean equipment to user departments according to flight schedules and production needs.
• Use detergents as required, avoiding waste.
• Minimize or prevent breakage/damage of airline equipment and report any incidents during the shift.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years’ experience with reputable hotel or restaurant chains preferred.
• Knowledge of good hygiene practices and methods.
• Understanding of safe handling of chemicals and solutions.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices in restaurant and kitchen environments.
• Personal hygiene and HACCP knowledge.
