Gulf Helicopters are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and overseas all aspects of our HR practices and processes.This is a key leadership role responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting business goals through talent management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practice. HR Manager will ensure alignment of the same with GHC’s corporate, strategic and business objectives. Develop and implement HR systems in GHC to ensure effective and efficient talent hiring and deployment, succession planning and compensation and rewards that drive performance excellence to enable achievement of GHC’s growth and objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Contribute towards the formulation and implementation of overall business strategies and plans which enable the achievement of GHC’s mission and objectives. Develop the HR strategy in line with the overall company’s strategy and objectives.
- Oversee and approve the budget related to HR functions, ensuring that adequate provision is made for all activities, monitor and control expenditure against approved budget and reconcile budget variances to ensure on-target performance against budgets.
- Oversee the development and the implementation of HR policies and procedures in order to ensure that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a high quality and cost-effective service to the employees of GHC.
- Define with the concerned departments and in conjunction with the senior management an optimum organisation structure in order to ensure alignment of the operating model with the overall organizational strategy and efficiency of people, process and technology within GHC.
- Maintain, review and update the organizational grading structure in order to ensure alignment with the organizational strategy and leading practices.
- Drive centralization and automation of HR transactional services in order to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of HR transactional processes.
- Approve all negotiated contracts with vendors for HR services (e.g. recruitment agencies, training institutes, etc.) and ensure that GHC is being offered quality and cost-efficient services.
- Oversee the performance appraisal framework and employee reward schemes (e.g. base pay incentives, reward schemes, and employee benefits).
- Monitor employment market trends, staff availability, skills shortages, pay rates and competitor packages in order to adapt existing HR policies, procedures and practices; initiate studies as necessary.
- Establish effective recruitment and selection systems and standards and oversee administration of recruitment programs, participate in interviewing and short-listing candidates as necessitated.Review and approve all payroll related letters to employees/new employees.
- Recommend and drive manpower requirements for each fiscal year as well as direct the forecasts on future requirements through consulting with senior management; ensure that all recruitment activities are sufficiently performed in order to fulfil the manpower requirements.
- Direct development of GHC’s competency framework, ensuring accurate highlighting of behavioral and functional competencies necessary for fulfilment of roles.
- Oversee the grievance procedures of senior staff.Responsible for the grievance procedure of managerial level and above.
- Maintain relations with governmental institutions such as Labour Department, Immigration and others. Ensure compliance with the performance management process and its linkages to learning and development, compensation, promotion, career development and succession planning for all departments.
- Take care of all administration activities for example, but not limited to: Legal issues, dealing with legal companies, insurance, company registration, staff activities related to administration, managing pensions for national staff.

Qualifications:
- Degree in HR, Business or related field
- Post Graduate Degree will be an added advantage
- Professional certification from relevant institutions will be an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
