Job description

We are looking for a Structural Engineering Design Lead for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Qatar Onshore

Estimated Start Date: 01-Jul-2024

Estimated End Date: 30-Jun-2027

Contract Duration: 36 Months

Qualification and Experience Required:

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience:

• 8 years of relevant experience in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.

Technical and Business Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within PMT.


• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams in offshore environments.


• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.


• A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.


• Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications. Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, pipeline, structural, instrument, telecom, piping and electrical.
