Senior Shutdown Support Coordinator (3-Year Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Shutdown Support Coordinator to join a major offshore compression project in the Middle East on a three-year contract. This role will initially be offered on single status but has the potential to transition to couple or family status in the future.

Role Overview

As Senior Shutdown Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the project's shutdown deliverables schedule, planning, and progress measurement. You will ensure all deliverables meet the Shutdown Management System (SDMS) standards and are delivered on time, supporting successful gate approvals and project execution.

You will play a key role in identifying potential schedule risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with shutdown procedures, working closely with project management, operations teams, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track shutdown deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Review project changes to assess schedule impacts and integrate approved changes.
• Provide expert advice on schedule issues and corrective actions.
• Lead and participate in shutdown-related meetings, workshops, and site visits.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and maintain detailed planning records.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and contractors to ensure SDMS compliance.
• Support risk identification, change management, and progress measurement activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling major projects, with at least 2 years in shutdown execution.
• Strong understanding of shutdown methodologies, progress tracking, and risk management.
• Proven ability to develop alternative work methods aligned with corporate policies and project objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work confidently across operations and project teams.
• Highly organized, adaptable to shifting priorities, and able to manage tight deadlines.
• Independent, proactive, and capable of guiding internal teams on complex scheduling matters.
• LNG experience is a big plus
