Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain a technical interface management system (IMS) and interface control procedures in consultation with the PTF and EPIC Contractor counterparts.
  2. Establish interface objectives, strategies, and performance indicators to ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality, schedule, budget, and project requirements.
  3. Monitor new SOW boundaries, organize, and communicate any gaps or issues impacting the project.
  4. Coordinate technical interfaces in complex Onshore/Offshore Brownfield and Greenfield projects, including deviations, changes, and variations with relevant contractors.
  5. Create and maintain a risk and opportunity management plan tailored to the project needs, including developing and updating a risk register with risk owners, categorization, prioritization, and mitigation strategies.
  6. Ensure EPIC contractors' top risks are included in the risk register and communicate risk statuses to the Project Manager and PTF.
  7. Plan and facilitate periodic risk review meetings, build risk models, run QRAs, and generate contingency reports.
  8. Chair monthly risk review sessions with project discipline heads and functional leads.
  9. Adhere to company risk management procedures and controls, develop standardized reports, and maintain audit trails for risk registers.
  10. Achieve KPI targets for critical risk mitigation and independently manage interfaces and risk resolutions.
  11. Resolve complex interface and risk issues, facilitate conflict resolution within a multicultural and multidisciplinary workforce, and operate in offshore/onshore environments with confidentiality.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • B.Sc. in Engineering from a recognized university; higher degrees are advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major oil & gas projects, with at least 7 years in project management/interface leadership.
  • Proven track record in major oil & gas projects, developing effective interface organizations, and implementing industry best practices and company standards.
  • Strong judgment, analytical skills, management, leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
