Overview: The candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all Oracle ERP functionalities. The Functional Consultant will handle related issues, enhancements, and changes.
Job Description:
- Functional Leadership: Lead modules including all mentioned above and other custom modules related to the Finance domain.
- Project Participation: Actively participate in rollout, enhancements, and upgrade projects.
- Support Management: Oversee all module areas, support core business users, and manage the functional track of the outsourced support team.
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Gather customer requirements, map them onto Oracle applications, and ensure best practices are followed.
- Business Interfacing & Testing: Conduct business interfacing discussions, scoping, planning, functional analysis, requirement & gap analysis, mapping, solution designing, and functional testing.
- Finance Modules Support: Provide support for Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, i-Expense, Cash Management, Treasury, and Projects Costing.
- Requirements & Solutions: Guide key users on Oracle best practices, highlight drawbacks, and identify areas for improvement and ERP enhancements.
- Documentation & Upgrades: Maintain updated information on RUP and ERP upgrade details, liaise with Oracle for upgrades, patches, SRs, and exposure, and utilize standard documentation methods.
- Training & Extensions: Organize training sessions for users and define requirements for ERP-related extensions.
- Project & Support Maintenance: Maintain information on projects and third-party applications, diagnose ERP issues, and manage SRs with Oracle.
- Managerial & Team Support: Manage issues as per SLA, report team performance, facilitate team facilities, training, and support.
- Self-Management: Strive for proficiency in all role-related competencies and skills.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 12+ years of experience with similar responsibilities.
- Experience translating functional specifications into technical requirements.
- Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, SOA Suite/Fusion.
- Experience in the health sector domain preferred.
