Job description

An Accounting Supervisor aims to be recognized as a trusted advisor to finance team members and other hotel business partners. This role supports the finance lead in retaining and training top finance professionals and assists in developing the finance team. It ensures a robust control and compliance environment and supports the hotel/hotels in maximizing profit, while contributing to the implementation of EMEA Operations Finance innovations and projects.

What will I be doing?

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will support the Finance Lead in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes within the hotel.

  1. Support financial performance analysis and month-end closing activities.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with:
  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Uniform System of Accounts
  • Hilton policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with policy, regulatory, and contractual frameworks.
  • Collaborate with hotel finance teams and management for smooth financial operations.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including:
    • Commercial, IT, Procurement, and Operations teams
    • Shared Service Centers (where applicable)
  • Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant Finance Manager/Director.
  • Participate in relevant finance training and development programs.
