Job description

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Lead the provision of expertise on the Quality Management System (QMS) of the Department and ensure compliance with QATARENERGY Standards, International Standards, and Regulatory Requirements.

Monitor all quality-related activities on assigned projects.

Required Experience And Skills

1. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Industry with an internationally recognized EPIC contractor or end-user/owner organizations, covering pipelines and process plants.
2. Hands-on experience in major EPIC projects, involved in all phases from working level to independently managing/heading QA/QC functions, with technical expertise in the core discipline.
3. Knowledge of manufacturing inspection and certification processes for equipment/materials in projects, along with associated Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.
4. Experience working from corporate offices with responsibility for coordinating/managing multiple projects simultaneously is desirable.
5. Familiarity with interpreting Shell DEPs, International Codes/Standards (ASME, ASTM, NACE, AWS, API, BS, ISO) related to the industry.
6. Sound knowledge of Welding and NDT is essential.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from an internationally recognized institution or equivalent.
• IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor Certification, ASNT Level-II Certification in RT/MT/PT/UT.
• Certifications in welding and painting inspection activities from recognized bodies like AWS, CSWIP, or TWI.
• Membership or professional certification with recognized Quality organizations such as CQI or ASQ is desirable.
