A leading consulting firm seeks a Contract Associate Manager to oversee contract management processes and lead teams on large projects. The role involves engaging with clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with commercial regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, significant experience in contract management, and a collaborative mindset.
Provide legal support for contract management processes and account delivery requirements. Ensure processes are consistent with Accenture policies. Advise on legal and risk management issues. Draft and review statements of work, change requests, and other contractual documents. Track contract changes, deliverables and risks. Resolve issues and disputes to minimize potential for litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead contract management teams at all levels across large projects and accounts; work with account leadership, client commercial and business stakeholders to understand client needs and priorities; account strategy, objectives, and opportunities.
Develop contract management staff across multiple projects and accounts taking responsibility for supporting performance management activities.
Take accountability for identification, escalation and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues working with leadership to ensure the best outcome for all parties.
Engage in pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, including contract drafting support.
Contract Managers are client facing and have a key role in building trusted relationships with client counterparts.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Contract Management Knowledge and Experience:
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives at all levels of the organization and be capable of supporting discussions to influence key commercial and contracting decisions; and
Significant understanding of commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices; and commercial contracting terms and conditions.

Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 7 yrs. relevant experience as a contract manager with exposure to complex deals with proven team management experience.
Membership
Member of World Commerce and Contracting (previously International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM)) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and/ or professional certification considered a plus.
Work Requirements
Extensive travel may be required.
