We are expanding in the Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA), with a focus on safety as a core strategic priority. We are seeking a Safety Officer to support our Safety Manager in enhancing safety management and performance across the organization. This role is based on-site in Oman and involves collaborating with global and local teams to implement and improve safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and improvement of the safety management system, including safety documentation and safety culture cultivation.
  • Participate in safety committees and forums, providing expert advice on safety matters.
  • Contribute to safety projects, work with customers and subcontractors, and support emergency response planning.
  • Monitor safety risks, develop risk management processes, and support safety-related change initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze safety data, perform safety audits, and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Promote safety awareness, develop safety competencies, and communicate safety information proactively.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, 2-5 years of safety experience (preferably in the elevator industry), fluency in English, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in problem-solving, incident management, and auditing is required.
