Associate Director, Real Assets, Global Investment Fund

Our client, a leading international investment manager, is seeking an Associate Director to join their real assets investment team. The role involves fund investments across the entire real assets spectrum, including infrastructure, natural resources, and real estate.

What the job involves

1. Leading the screening of new investments, considering macro and industry trends in line with the department's investment mandate.
2. Evaluating new investment opportunities, including reviewing offers for participation.
3. Establishing and maintaining relationships with GPs, advisors, and industry contacts.
4. Assessing the performance of existing investments and exploring strategic initiatives to enhance value.
5. Benchmarking investment opportunities against peers and comparable transactions.
6. Having a sound understanding of infrastructure and natural resources asset classes, including risk/return attributes and portfolio diversification elements.

Who we are looking for

1. University Degree.
2. MBA or other advanced financial qualifications such as ACA, CFA are desirable.
3. Relevant experience in a buy-side role focusing on fund investments in unlisted real assets, including infrastructure, natural resources, or real estate.
4. Ability to relocate full-time to Doha, Qatar.
