Job description

The ICT and Media Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the school's technological needs, communication systems (internally and in the media), and documentation systems. This role includes maintaining ICT systems, assisting users, and ensuring hardware and software function effectively across the school. It also involves capturing and editing photos and videos for school events and activities, preparing content for publishing, and supporting onboarding and digital training for staff, students, and parents. The ICT and Media Support Specialist is expected to manage their specific responsibilities independently and reliably.

ICT Operations & Support
  1. Install, configure, and maintain ICT hardware and licensed software according to school policies.
  2. Ensure all devices are secure, up to date, and ready for student and staff use.
  3. Respond promptly to ICT Helpdesk requests and provide technical support to staff, students, and parents.
  4. Support students with device setup, especially for platforms like ClassLink and other educational tools.
  5. Maintain and prepare examination devices in line with assessment requirements.
  6. Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of school ICT assets.
  7. Record completed tasks and support actions in the appropriate tracking system to ensure transparency and inform the team of ongoing and resolved issues.
  8. Communicate with external vendors and service providers to request quotations, follow up on inquiries, and report technical issues, maintenance needs, or repair requests in coordination with the ICT Coordinator.
Requirements
  • University degree related to Computer Science and Information Technology.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IT tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data input.
  • Strong cross-cultural interpersonal skills, professional and friendly in person and on the phone.
