The Manager of Finance Transformation will leverage both technical expertise and business process improvement skills to lead and manage various finance processes (e.g., P2P, R2R, S2C, DOC, FP&A, GRC, Tax, Business Finance, MIS) through innovative technology solutions and new working methods.
As a SME and key leadership team member, you will help redefine and transform complex finance initiatives to achieve operational excellence, efficiency, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
Accountabilities :
- Contribute to integrating a new ERP system into the Group's financial systems across multiple or complex finance streams.
- Scope, design, build, implement, test, and manage all phases of the finance transformation project, including resource allocation and budgeting.
- Assist in defining the Finance Target Operating Model with the Head of Finance Transformation and Project Director, supporting the Finance Transformation Agenda.
- Lead change management, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new processes.
- Manage transition activities, including training, knowledge transfer, business cut-over, and post-Go-Live support.
- Collaborate with the Group Digital team to ensure finance needs are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks in current systems and applications support.
- Document current processes, identify automation opportunities, and streamline back-office operations.
- Own business process designs for finance streams, adhering to key principles, and contribute to ERP project planning and risk mitigation.
- Serve as a process expert, understanding current and future states, and defining implementation strategies.
- Continuously seek innovative solutions for improvement.
- Support ERP team to ensure compliance with design principles and data governance.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics, with professional qualifications (CA, CPA, CMA).
- Over 8 years in business transformation and ERP implementation.
- At least 4 years in process improvement and operational excellence.
- Minimum 4 years managing operational finance processes (e.g., P2P, R2R, S2C, etc.).
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement projects.
Preferred :
- Over 5 years of Oracle Fusion project management experience.
- Over 4 years managing ERP implementations and rollouts.
- Experience with project management methodologies like Agile and ITIL in regulated environments.
- Lean Six Sigma certification and experience with process improvement methodologies.
Job Specific Skills :
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process mapping skills.
- Certified in Project Management with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in aviation industry back-office processes such as “Flight to Settle”, “Ticket to Cash”, and “Record to Report”.
- Functional finance experience in various industries.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, integrations, and complex IT infrastructure.
Additional Preferred Skills :
- Expertise in ERP implementation and software delivery best practices (e.g., Oracle).
- Experience with aviation industry processes.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
