- Work with the sales team to improve store executions and implementations through store visits.
- Analyze EPOS data and provide insights to the sales team on consumer insights and market trends.
- Coach and mentor all team members, especially direct reports, for performance and work closely with them during the various stages of the performance cycle (goal setting, performance evaluations, etc.).
- Collaborate with existing suppliers to expand product categories and also work with new potential suppliers to expand into new product categories to generate revenues.
- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility and develop planograms.
- Devise long-term development strategies for product categories.
- Develop strategic plans for new product launches and exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or a Professional Degree in Retail and Distribution Management.
- Preferably, a Master’s Degree in International Business, Marketing, or Communication.
- Work experience in related sectors such as distribution, channel management, or luxury retail industry.
- Working knowledge of channel management, supply chain management, relations, marketing campaigns, events management, staff supervision, and motivation.
- Must have a commercial mindset with an understanding of sales and profitability.
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- An analytical mind with strategic abilities.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
