SAP BASIS Technical Consultant (SAP Tax and Revenue Management -TRM)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Technical Consultant with a strong background in SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) to join our SAP technical team. This role will support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of SAP TRM systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for public sector revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain SAP systems, with a focus on SAP TRM (Tax and Revenue Management) landscapes.
• Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and support for SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and other relevant SAP components.
• Collaborate with functional teams to support the end-to-end lifecycle of TRM solutions including system performance tuning, transport management, and issue resolution.
• Ensure integration and smooth communication between SAP TRM and other modules such as FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable), PSCD (Public Sector Collection and Disbursement), and CRM.
• Perform system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery setup, and support audits and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot BASIS-related technical issues in TRM implementations and coordinate with SAP support if necessary.
• Participate in SAP system refreshes, client copies, and migrations (including S/4HANA transformations where applicable).
• Maintain technical documentation and follow SAP best practices and public sector compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant, including at least 2 years of experience with SAP TRM (Public Sector).
• Strong technical expertise in SAP NetWeaver, HANA DB, system architecture, and BASIS administration tasks.
• Experience working with SAP Public Sector solutions, especially FI-CA and TRM components.
• Familiarity with security, authorizations, and data privacy requirements in government environments.
• Proven experience in high-availability and disaster recovery for SAP systems.
• Good knowledge of SAP transport management, SAProuter, and OSS support tools. Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to S/4HANA transformations and cloud-hosted SAP environments.
• Experience in taxation, billing, revenue management, and collections in a public sector context.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and SAP Fiori.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work in cross functional teams. Certifications (Preferred):
• SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration (SAP HANA or SAP NetWeaver).
• Experience or training in SAP Public Sector Collection and Disbursement (PSCD).
