Job Description

What Does an Oracle Database Administrator - Oracle EBS Specialist Do?
* Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments
* Optimize performance, troubleshoot slow queries, and fine-tune database parameters
* Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery using RMAN
* Oversee Oracle EBS patching, upgrades, and cloning across development and production environments
* Implement and monitor security policies, including user access, encryption, and audits
* Support and troubleshoot integration with application teams, developers, and infrastructure teams
* Handle SSL certificates, database health checks, and tuning recommendations
* Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and recovery procedures
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
* Perform Oracle EBS R12.x database administration including upgrades, patching, cloning, and backups
* Work with tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), RMAN, GoldenGate, and SQL Developer
* Manage performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and failover configurations
* Liaise with stakeholders across technical and business teams for support and change management
* Ensure database security, integrity, and availability across all environments
* Proactively monitor systems and respond to incidents

Experience:
