Job description

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Ground Services team in Doha as a Strategy & Communications Specialist.

This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a leading aviation group. The successful candidate will support the development and execution of strategic plans and collaborate with various business units to ensure all communications align with business goals.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Foster transparent and engaging information flow; support strategic projects and internal communication efforts within the Ground Services Division.
  2. Contribute to strategic planning by leading a robust communications framework; effectively communicate updates related to new business requirements, policies, and initiatives.
  3. Generate visual and written reports to provide insights for decision-making and strategic direction.
  4. Design and create visual materials such as presentations, infographics, and digital assets in line with brand guidelines.
  5. Manage and update internal platforms like QHub to ensure relevant, accessible, and up-to-date content.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Mandatory graphic design experience (Adobe or similar)
  • Basic photography skills for capturing high-quality images at internal events
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
  • Knowledge of KPI development and reporting frameworks
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI or similar
