We are seeking a dedicated Senior Planning Engineer to support multiple data center projects for a top technology company. This client-facing role involves complex planning and scheduling, change management, scheduled maintenance, and multi-project resource management.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish strong client relationships and communicate effectively with technical and management personnel.
2. Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
3. Collaborate with the client and contractors to develop work breakdown structures (WBS), CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules (IMS).
4. Load schedules with resource and cost data.
5. Perform resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and resource strains.
6. Maintain and update schedules and reports regularly.
7. Prepare and present progress reports, findings, and recommendations to management.
8. Coordinate schedule reviews with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure feasibility and compliance.
9. Report on schedule updates, delays, and accelerations.
10. Track and analyze onsite construction productivity.
11. Develop and implement an earned value management system (EVM).
12. Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
13. Conduct what-if and delay analyses as needed.
14. Serve as the primary communication link with clients regarding contracts and project progress.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 12+ years of construction planning and scheduling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, engineering, project management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction and scheduling best practices.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, including resource management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Experience developing various reports for different audiences.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical construction programs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Construction Management.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience in data centers.
• Earned Value Management experience.
• PSP or PMI-SP certification.
• Active membership in PMI, AACEi, or similar organizations.
