Job Responsibilities:
- Presence in the field to support pipeline-related activities, both Offshore and Onshore.
- Technical support to other disciplines including pipeline repair, damage assessment, corrosion, integrity, and other operations/business functions.
- Executing offshore Field Construction safely and efficiently with a large number of contract staff, less familiar with QG safety, quality, and work management standards.
- Maintaining strong interfaces between Company Operations, Logistics departments, and Contractor teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
- Ensuring robust and well-prepared offshore/Subsea Brown Field Construction planning and execution to fit within Operations planned shutdown schedule.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Review FEED and EPC construction deliverables and studies to support the development and/or understanding of subsea pipelines projects.
- Ensure full compliance with QG construction and system completion procedures.
- Determine shutdown requirements for repair scopes.
- Minimize shutdown durations by providing innovative solutions in pipeline repair executions.
- Review and approve permits.
- Involve in incident investigations, analyze, and draw conclusions from incidents, near misses, KEI, RA, and RCFAs. Perform Management of Change reviews.
- Participate in design and SHE reviews (DRA, HAZOPs, HAZIDs, risk assessments) and verify that related risks and reliability, construction/installation issues are closed out.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, technical qualifications, and/or equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector, primarily in construction with subsea pipelines and offshore brownfield activities.
- Field experience of offshore installation/subsea pipeline/cable repair projects, engineering, operations, and at least 10 years of extensive experience in offshore project execution/pipeline repair/hook-up activities in a supervisory role.
- Experience in using subsea construction equipment for pipeline operations.
- Experience in reviewing subsea lifting plans and ensuring project requirements and RA recommendations are adhered to.
- Offshore survey experience, experienced in diving vessel and marine lifting activities.
- Experience in managing contractors as a COMPANY representative.
- Involved in EPCI Pipeline Projects.
- Strong technical skills and experience in subsea pipeline construction.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of SHE Standards as they relate to the Oil & Gas Industry and Environment.
- Strong effective communication skills in written and spoken English, creativity, problem-solving, and coordination capabilities with good attention to detail.
- High degree of flexibility and ability to demonstrate conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to foresee and resolve issues by providing guidance to the site team for safe installation.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and interface skills.
- Good negotiating and influencing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
