Job Description

A Chief Engineer is responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. This includes performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating renovation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing maintenance issues within the hotel
2. Performing daily checks around the hotel
3. Conducting lift emergency release procedures as required
4. Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment
5. Building good relationships with internal and external customers
6. Maintaining all hotel fixtures and fittings for safety
7. Developing and implementing emergency programs
8. Managing energy conservation programs
9. Coordinating renovation bidding, scope, and overseeing contractors
10. Performing special projects as assigned
11. Ensuring health and safety standards and conducting safety inspections

Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering
• Positive attitude and good communication skills

• Previous management experience
