Job description

We are looking for a Lead Engineer-DCS to join our team in Doha, Qatar. Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Award Stage: Proposal Engineering

1. Preparation of System Architecture
2. Preparation of BOM & Cost Estimation
3. Preparation of Manhour Estimates
4. Drafting of Techno-Commercial Offers
5. Review & Verification of Customer Specs and compliance statements

Post-Award Stage: Detailed Engineering

1. Detailed Engineering
2. Preparation of BOM & Cost Estimation and Ordering on Factory &/or Vendors
3. Cost and Schedule Adherence
4. Customer Meetings

Panel-Build & FAT

1. Detailed Engineering for Panel Build
2. Leading FAT Software Development & FAT
3. Supervising Application Development
4. Verification of Application Accuracy
5. Hands-On Commissioning of Foxboro DCS & associated systems at site
6. Liaising with 3rd party system engineers for interfacing with DCS

Competencies

• FEED and Detailed Engineering of Process Control Systems and Panels
• MESH Control network interface and Tie-Ins
• Hardware & Software engineering for DCS
• Design basis for Instrumentation & controls
• Participation in FAT for control systems and subsystems
• Vendor drawing review & approval
• Experience with Fox Draw, Wonderware, and other control software
• System interface and integration with various systems and protocols
• Foundation Field bus configuration and commissioning
• System testing, FAT, SAT planning and execution
• Witnessing SAT, Loop, and Function tests for various systems
• Commissioning, start-up, and maintenance of ICS systems

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent. 5-7 years of experience as a Discipline Engineer. Skills in Instrumentation & Control Systems.
