Job description

In this role, you will perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, QE [QR standards and procedures], ensuring the highest maintenance practices and safety standards to achieve operational results as set by the unit.

Additionally, you will be responsible for completing assigned tasks within procedural frameworks and set time frames, performing effectively under time constraints and demonstrating a high level of technical competency.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure all ground equipment used by Line and Base Maintenance is maintained in a serviceable and safe condition, with defects reported and rectified expediently to meet maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all ground equipment undergoes routine periodic inspections according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain logs of periodic GSE inspections, rectifications, defects, and actions taken.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Section to ensure adequate spare support for the prompt return to service of unserviceable equipment.
• Make recommendations to the reporting manager regarding the purchase of additional or replacement ground support equipment.
• Provide status reports and equipment location updates concerning the serviceability of ground equipment as required.
• Complete assigned tasks to deliver satisfactory service to customers.
• Operate equipment or tooling related to the work area to meet time frame objectives.
• Interpret information related to routine activities to maintain continuous operation.
• Perform assigned tasks independently under normal conditions to meet productivity standards.
