Job description

Alhazm, a top luxury shopping destination in the heart of Doha, Qatar, specializes in providing clients with a distinguished journey through our unique shopping and fine dining experience.

The Videographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with Alhazm's luxury brand image. This role supports marketing, events, social media, and internal communications by delivering visually compelling stories and cinematic-quality productions.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for video production from start to finish, including pre-production, shooting, editing, animation, and post-production.
• Work closely with Art Directors and social media managers to develop high-quality, visually driven creative content such as photos, videos, and cinemagraphs for the website, social media, menus, presentations, fashion releases, and events.
• Prepare locations and creative setups for photo and video shoots, especially for food, products, and fashion.
• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting formats for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating static and motion graphics, titling, adding music, voice-overs, SFX, managing media, and archiving projects.
• Maintain and organize technical equipment to ensure readiness for use.
• Research and prepare props and equipment needed for shoots.
• Manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Prepare content in advance for social media calendars to ensure timely posting or printing.
• Assist the Creative team with additional tasks as needed.

Desired Skills

1. Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and high-impact videos.
2. Experience shooting food, fashion, and luxury products.
3. Experience operating drones.
4. Proficiency in digital imaging software.
5. Strong sense of creativity, composition, color, and balance.
6. Experience working with both daylight and studio lighting.
7. Proficiency with audio equipment, including mixers, effects processors, and recording techniques for studio and field environments.
8. Skilled in digital video editing, motion graphics, and video compression for various platforms.
9. Reliable team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
10. Well-organized, proactive, with excellent attention to detail.
11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced digital production environment.
12. Passion for staying updated on digital marketing trends related to videography.
