Qualifications

  • 3+ years in fixed platforms - topside and/or jacket.

Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor drawings, specifications, and material deliveries.
  • Ensure proper implementation of Mechanical Installation.

Job description

We are looking for an RP Mechanical Supervisor for one of our clients with the following details:

Doha/Oman/Offshore

Work status:

Residential

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering and construction
  • Minimum Experience: At least 15 years' experience in offshore piping fabrication for offshore oil & gas projects, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in fixed platforms - topside and/or jacket.
Job-Specific Skills:
  • Available for technical missions worldwide
  • Experienced with company General Specifications, OPERCOM, ICAPS, PRODOM, and relevant codes and standards
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Computer literate
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work on complex, multicultural projects
  • Good analytical skills
Activities:
  • Promote and comply with safety instructions and HSE procedures
  • Work in accordance with company policies, laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of all obtained information
  • Review and monitor drawings, specifications, instructions, and material deliveries
  • Review all Method Statements within his field
  • Conduct Material Receiving Inspection
  • Ensure proper implementation of Mechanical Installation
  • Oversee preservation activities as per procedures/vendor recommendations
  • Review pre-commissioning procedures and reporting tools
  • Review CTR's installation plan including skidding methods
  • Close out punch list within 7 days
  • Monitor pre-commissioning progress and expedite outstanding tasks
  • Ensure safety and timeliness in job responsibilities
