An established industry player is seeking a Heavy Wheel Mechanic to develop and implement a comprehensive vehicle maintenance program. Develops, plans, and schedules for implementing a heavy-duty vehicle maintenance program. Responsible for overseeing the checkout of all vehicles under Depot Operations. Provides technical and administrative supervision of the Depot Maintenance Facility. The Heavy Wheel Mechanic also aids the Depot Team during unpacking, inventory, inspection, and support of the repair and checkout of the MEIs. This position is located in Qatar.
The Heavy Wheel Mechanic will oversee organizational and direct support repairs in accordance with US ARMY 10/20/30 PMCS Maintenance Standards. Reviews, updates, and makes recommendations on Technical Manuals. Recommends training and repairs, administers On-The-Job Training, and suggests parts acquisitions.
Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of related experience, or an Associate Degree with 10 years’ experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 14 years of related experience.

This role is onsite, primarily in El Paso, TX, or Qatar, depending on the assignment. The salary range is $82,000 to $164,000 USD, based on experience and other factors. Hired applicants may be eligible for various benefits and incentive programs.
