Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider is seeking a Dynamics AX Functional Consultant for a full-time role based in Qatar. Your primary responsibilities include training clients on Dynamics AX, mapping business needs into software solutions, and implementing best practices. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, participate in all life cycle stages of AX projects, and possess excellent communication skills. This position offers engagement with leading banks in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Dynamics AX.
• Familiarity with Sure Step methodology and documentation.
• Understand business cycles for related modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide training on Dynamics AX modules.
• Implement process improvements and best practices.
• Configure business requirements into Dynamics AX.
• Define requirements for software solutions and perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
• Communicate and document system specifications for clients and team members.
• Document test scenarios and perform unit, system, and data conversion testing tasks.
• Provide periodic status reports and accurate estimates and timelines of work.
• Map and configure clients’ business requirements into Dynamics AX.
• Prepare user manuals and training material for customers.
• Perform configuration / process flow simulations to the customer.
• Work in a team environment and contribute to the team’s knowledge base and AX experience.
• Client-facing experience is a plus.
• Must have handled at least 3 on-site implementations.
• Must have implementation experience in GCC countries. Proficient communication skills.
• Should have participated in all stages of lifecycle in multiple AX implementation projects.

Overview

VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers training on related Dynamics AX modules.
• Exhibit in-depth familiarity in areas from Module Setup to closing cycles and reconciliations.
• Suggest and implement leading practices and process improvements.
• Define requirements for software solutions and perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
• Communicate and document system specifications for clients and team members.
• Document test scenarios and perform unit, system, and data conversion testing tasks.
• Provide periodic status reports and accurate estimates and timelines of work.
• Map and configure clients’ business requirements into Dynamics AX.
• Prepare user manuals and training material for customers.
• Perform configuration / process flow simulations to the customer.
• Work in a team environment and contribute to the team’s knowledge base and AX experience.

Terms and conditions

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks).

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Qatar and shall be deputed to one of the leading banks in Qatar.
