Job summary

Accor in Dubai is seeking an experienced Bartender to mix and serve beverages, manage bar security and assist in setup and breakdown. You will be the guest-facing ambassador, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to safety and cash-handling standards.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of bartending experience, strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits, and ServSafe or equivalent certification. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer, wine and spirits.
• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems and cash handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ServSafe or food safety certification.
• Knowledge of local liquor laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with Dubai's hospitality industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests drink recommendations to complement food items.
• Know menu origins, preparations, and ingredients to advise guests.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Complete beverage and general supply requisitions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and report feedback to management.
• Ensure guest safety and report over-intoxication when observed.
• Assist in emergency procedures as directed by management.
• Clean and reset areas; perform side duties as assigned.
• Assist with organization of bar items and deliveries; rotate stock.
• Support other departments as needed during busy periods.
• Adhere to all F&B policies and procedures.
