Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Site Engineer - Drainage to supervise drainage construction activities on-site across infrastructure projects in Qatar. The role requires coordinating with contractors, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

A strong background in drainage design and project coordination is essential. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least five years of experience in drainage construction

Qualifications

• Experience applying drainage design and construction knowledge to field projects.
• Ability to manage multiple on-site tasks with attention to quality and safety.
• Strong communication with contractors, clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drainage construction activities on-site according to plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Enforce HSE policies on-site and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Review contractor work and provide guidance to meet requirements.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Provide updates to project team and clients on progress and issues.
• Support project manager to meet schedule and budget objectives.
