Overview

Specialists Trading & Contracting is a leading fit-out contractor in Doha and is immediately seeking a highly experienced and motivated Draftsman / Designer specializing in gypsum / drywall fit-out projects. If you are currently based in Qatar and ready to step into a demanding role with a clear path for growth, we want to hear from you.

The Role : Excellence in Gypsum Design

You will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise, detailed, and technically sound shop drawings for all gypsum-related internal fit-out works (ceilings, partitions, wall paneling, bulkheads, etc.).

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Experience : Proven, solid experience (minimum 3+ years) specifically in drafting for commercial and residential gypsum / drywall fit-out projects.
• Technical Expertise : Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and other essential programs for producing accurate shop drawings.
• Local Availability : Must be currently based in Qatar with a transferable visa.
• Immediate Start : Ready to join immediately is preferable.
• Communication : Fully English literate (excellent verbal and written communication skills) to effectively coordinate with project managers, site teams, and consultants.
• Soft Skills : Strong professional soft skills, including time management, precision, and the ability to handle pressure and meet strict deadlines.
