Job summary

Work standard in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The role requires operating large trucks, maintaining safety, and delivering cargo on schedule from Doha. A valid license and ability to work with maps/GPS are essential.

Salary is 1,100 per month. Immigrant candidates will be considered. Minimum experience is not required but preferred, and English or Arabic communication is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to drive long distances for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
• Ability to read maps/GPS systems effectively.
• Good sense of direction and spatial awareness.
• Excellent communication skills in English or Arabic (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate large trucks to transport cargo in accordance with safety regulations.
• Observe traffic laws, maintain logs, inspect vehicle before starting route, and report any mechanical problems encountered on the road.
• Load and unload cargo from trucks using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure deliveries are made on time and accurately according to delivery instructions.
• Maintain records of deliveries made including mileage, fuel consumption and other data as required.
