Job summary

Want More in Doha invites an experienced Optometrist to join our clinic. You will examine patients’ eyes, determine corrective actions, and refer when needed.

You will provide preventive vision care, educate patients on eye health, and participate in pre- and post-operative care for eye procedures. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in clinical optometry and strong patient-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical optometry setting.
• Expertise in eye health care and vision correction.
• Excellent patient care skills and strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients’ eyes to determine the cause of vision problems and determine corrective actions or referrals.
• Provide preventive vision care services including checking eyesight and determining the need for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
• Educate patients on proper eye health care and identify diseases through ophthalmology testing.
• Recommend therapeutic drugs as appropriate and provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing corrective eye surgery.
