Qualifications

• Previous experience as a supervisor or similar role.
• Proven experience in staff supervision and coordination.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of staff members in the department ensuring they are meeting their targets.
• Monitor daily operational performance and take corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to by employees.
• Work with managers to ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained.
• Supervise the maintenance of equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Develop new strategies to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
• Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters, performance appraisals, etc.
• Foster an environment of collaboration between team members
