Ecojob in Doha, Qatar is seeking a highly organized Merchandising Assistant to support the Merchandiser in planning, developing, and executing strategies to drive sales and optimize inventory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Merchandising Assistant or similar role.
• Fluent in English; Malayalam proficiency preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with retail math and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Merchandiser in market research to identify trends and customer demands.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Monitor inventory levels and advise on stock replenishment.
• Coordinate with Marketing to plan promotions and displays.
• Track sales performance and prepare management reports.
• Assist in creating purchase orders and coordinating deliveries.
• Communicate with multiple departments to ensure timely execution of merchandising plans.
• Maintain accurate records of all merchandise transactions.
