Job summary

Flyper in Doha, Qatar is urgently seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team on a contract basis. You will ensure products are displayed and promoted effectively in retail stores, plan and execute merchandising strategies, and collaborate with retailers to optimize product placements.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) for data analysis, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and best practices.
• Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis purposes.
• Indian nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute merchandising strategies to increase sales and promote brand awareness.
• Collaborate with retail stores to ensure proper placement and display of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products.
• Analyze sales data and make adjustments to merchandising plans as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions.
• Train and supervise other merchandisers as needed.
• Communicate regularly with sales team to ensure alignment on product promotions and objectives.
