Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role required; industrial setting advantageous
• Proficient in 3D modeling software such as Autodesk or SolidWorks; CAD/CAM knowledge advantageous
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex problems quickly
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff at all levels

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test mechanical components and systems.
• Create models, diagrams and schematics to illustrate the design process.
• Maintain an organized system for tracking progress on projects.
• Monitor production processes and ensure quality products.
